Telecom BPO revenue to touch $2bn
Outsourcing revenues from the telecom sector in India are set to grow at a CAGR of 31% to nearly $2 bn in 2012, according to a first-of-its-kind study on the potential of the domestic BPO industry by Ernst & Young.

Tough times ahead for LPO firms
Legal process outsourcing (LPO) to India is now slowing down after the first few years of rapid growth. Business is down 20% with low-end services like online research and documentation being the worse hit. Business Outsourcing to create 40,000 jobs in Ghana in five years

India's largest BPO, Genpact, posted a net income (profit) of $30 million (Rs 147 crore) in the quarter - up 52 per cent year-on-year and 60 per cent sequentially (compared with the trailing quarter).
