Top five outsourcing destinations to watch
Many companies consider Argentina an ideal location for outsourcing. Bulgaria is climbing as an outsourcing centre, catching up on more established centers such as the Czech Republic. Along with India, China is still a top outsourcing domain, and is growing in popularity. Egypt, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are all on the rise, along with Tunisia, Ghana, South Africa, and Israel- with its extremely skilled programming workforce. Southeast Asian nations are continuing to build up an outsourcing presence. The Philippines is one of the faster growing countries, vying with Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.

R.R. Donnelley gets $100 million catalog deal
R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. was awarded a $100 million agreement to produce catalogs and provide logistics services for Cornerstone Brands. R.R. Donnelley, which provides print and business-process outsourcing services, said the multiyear agreement "significantly expands" its relationship with Cornerstone, a unit of multichannel retailer HSN Inc.

Top 30 Countries for Offshore Service in 2008
This year, Gartner has assessed the suitability of 72 countries as offshore locations, and has announced its 'Top 30'. The analysis showed that the dynamic nature of the market has seen a number of countries position themselves as credible alternatives to the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

RR Donnelley Acquires the Assets of Chilean Web Printer PROSA
R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE: RRD) announced today that it has acquired the assets of PROSA, a Chilean web printing company located in Santiago from Copesa (Consorcio Periodístico de Chile) for a cash consideration of approximately $23.5 million.
